It's About Time

Its about time Miley Cyrus graced us with yet another Magazine Cover, thank you Mary Claire for doing such a wonderful job!

The MC team's objective for this photo shoot was to bring a quiet sophistication to the star's can't-be-taught confidence. And I would say they did a pretty good job!!

 

And so the countdown begins as we wait for Miley's cover to hit newsstands February 15th!!  



Envy No More

If you are a lot like me than you most likely get annoyed with H&M's fabulous magazine ads or their "I cant change the channel" kind of commercials. Why? because you cant buy their clothes online and their stores are only located in the North (far away from us southerns) Well things are about to change because they are Finally getting an Online store coming at the end of this year! (about time they joined the 20th century)

So How exciting is it to think that theses looks will only be a click away?

There is not much more I can say about this photo shoot because its just to amazing for words, literally speechless! Wouldn't you have loved to be on set?

Byzantine Pleasures

Karl Lagerfeld finally reverted back to the catwalk and presented  the Chanel Metier D'Arts show in Paris to showcase his latest pre-fall 2011 collection! Bazaar shared that the Byzantine-inspired collection was full of beading, rich jewel tones and plenty gilded pleasures! sounds pretty breathtaking to me! and believe me it is! I couldn't have searched the looks any faster, and did it take my breath away! You judge for yourself and tell me if you didn't have to check your pulse after looking at theses:

I would give anything to have this little black dress hanging  in my closet next fall!

The Pope of Fashion

If you have not seen The September Issue, a film about Anna Wintour and the Making of Vogue, than you need to go rent it now, better yet might as well treat yourself and buy it (cause if you are as in love with fashion as I am you will not want to return it!) The film takes you straight into the lives of Anna and Grace Coddington, The creative director to vogue and a fashion genius (Google her work ASAP if you don’t know who she is. Shes kind of Major) For once we get to experience the true personality of Anna that is often not seen behind her signature over sized Chanel sunglasses, and I am obsessed.

Grace Coddington who I introduced earlier is beyond genius when it comes to styling for spreads in Vogue. She approaches fashion as if it is a fairytale just waiting to get read, where styling is considered dress-up and nothing is taken serious. (but believe me her work is "serious" art!) Here's To A New Year

I always love the beginning of a New Year, it always fun to look back and see just how many things have changed, the new relationships that were formed, and to see if I really did keep my New Years Resolution from the past year (most of my new years resolution are unrealistic like working out two times a day and giving up candy; totally not gonna happen) Which is why I have decided to make Reachable goals for myself! So wish me luck as I set forth to stay True to the resolutions I have made! Bring it on 2011!!
